Director of Nursing
Leigh Ann began her nursing career in 1995 working as an LVN at a local hospital. She went on to become an RN working in the Emergency Department. Her family moved to Fort Worth in 2002 where she worked as a Trauma Nurse Coordinator at a Level 2 Trauma Center. While there she gained a passion for leadership and education.
In 2007 Leigh Ann returned to Texarkana with her husband and two children and began working as the Trauma Coordinator at the same hospital where she began her career. While there she started the trauma program and successful obtained a Level 3 trauma designation in Texas and Arkansas. She is a TNCC and ENPC instructor, involved in injury prevention and serves on the regions Mobile Medical response team.
She is active in her community volunteering at church, school and local charities. Being a nurse allows Leigh Ann to help others in their time of need and is very rewarding to her. She likes knowing that she is a part of something that makes a difference in the lives of others.
